Simplified Data Collection from CygNet to the PI System
- OSIsoft, Weatherford, and CSE Icon have teamed up to develop the industry's first smart connector designed specifically for integrating CygNet SCADA data with PI.
- The new CygNet Connector uses native calls to Cygnet to retrieve both process data and the associated meta data that are stored in Cygnet, including preserving CygNet asset structures for consumption in PI while keeping both systems synchronized.
