Wroclaw Water and Sewage Authority's (MPWiK's) OT - IT convergence
As MPWiK we had the following challange: -Predictive analytics to allow the operator to adjust water flow and pressure -Prevent pressure drop across the city -Prevent exteme pressure which causes pipe breaks / leaks The solution we applied was the Red Carpet Incubation Program (RCIP) from Microsoft and OSIsoft helped MPWiK to connect production and customer data to predictive analytics. The benefits of such approach are: -Cost savings by reducing faults on the network -Customer satisfaction and reduction in the number of Customer service calls -Improve network leak diagnostics reducing time to fault detection and reduction in down-time -Faster fault detection through social learning
