Writing High Performance Applications with AF SDK
This presentation aims to demystify the world of AF SDK query performance. In developer technologies support we often encounter cases where customers would like to know what is the best way to use the AF SDK to query large amounts of data from the PI Data Archive. In short the answer is almost always: it depends. There are several factors influencing query performance such as the network bandwidth, resources on the PI Data Archive and the data retrieval methods implemented by the client. In this presentation we shall focus on how to optimize performance using those data retrieval methods.
