Wasatch Energy Systems Complying with TitleV using the PI System
The presentation will describe how Wasatch uses their PI System to meet regulatory requirements for the monitoring, recording and reporting of environmental data related to NOx, SOx, CO and other emissions. The plant equipment, Continuous Emission Monitoring Equipment and the PI System will be described. The presentation will explore some of the regulatory requirements and show how PI is an excellent platform for meeting them. A few details of how PI is used to address the requirements for system availability, and data reporting and auditing will be presented. Some aspects of project execution will be discussed.

Bart Baker (Systems Manager) Wasatch Energy employee for 14 years. Started employment in operations, and worked up to plant operator. In 1991 he moved into Instrumentation & Controls, responsible for DCS and CEMS systems. In 1999 he put the PI System into operation to replace Fisher’s Data Historian.
