Virtual Network Monitoring Powered by PI System
This presentation will describe how TasNetworks uses the PI system to support the efficient management of the Tasmanian electricity distribution network through deployment of the Virtual Network Monitoring (VNM) Algorithm. VNM turns raw data into useful business intelligence that can be used to make proactive and effective asset management decisions. The PI System's ability to integrate traditionally siloed data sources as well as its powerful calculation engines makes it the ideal environment to implement this novel algorithm.
