EDP Produção has been using the PI System for more than 20 years, to support our data driven and open data strategies. By then, we were focusing essentially on using PI Datalink and PI Processbook in our operational areas, and their integration with SharePoint.
3 years ago, we started a digital transformation journey, to which our data has been a critical player. We are now making our data available to everyone across the company, integrating it with our applications, be it smart glasses, mobile apps, workforce management tools or for monitoring and diagnostics. Data is no longer a standalone entity, but completely embedded in the way we work and understood as a valuable asset.
We will be presenting this perspective and its results at OSIsoft s PI World.

Patricia Rebelo
As Head of Efficiency at EDP Produção (EDPP), Patrícia is in charge of continuous improvement, business process management, Data Hub, core IT and digital transformation for the company. Previously, she was the Project Leader for a major organizational transformation program at EDPP. Since joining the EDP Group, Patrícia has held positions in Strategic Planning, Organizational Development and HR. She also had a 4 year tenure at EDP Renewables where she saw the company transform itself from a small Iberian Company to a worldwide leader in the renewables field. Patrícia started her career as an Assistant Auditor at KPMG and joined the EDP Group after that. She has an undergraduate degree from Nova School of Business Economics and an MBA from the University of Oxford. A proud mother of a 6 year old boy, outside of work she likes to spend her time with her family, introducing them to some of her favorite activities including traveling and golf. Patrícia has also been mentoring female young professionals for the past 6 years.
