Brent Punt
Brent Punt is a manager of automation engineering at Sanofi Pasteur in Swiftwater, PA where he has worked for 3 years. Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccine division of Sanofi Aventis group, is the largest company entirely dedicated to vaccines. Brent worked in the vaccine, pharmaceutical and medical device field for 13 years, focusing on process engineering and automation. Brent has worked with PI for 5 years and on RtReports for 3 years and recently completed a 30K point PI and RtReports validation for a vaccine manufacturing facility. The PI Server sources data from an Emerson DeltaV system, on which Brent is also an expert. Brent has experience in multiple PLC platforms and is currently expanding the PI system to source data from Wonderware / ControlLogix. Brent has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University.
