Presentation: Use of Plant Performance Monitoring Using PI System to Increase Plant Reliability

As the consistency and uninterruptable grid power supply become top priority to the national industries, any kind of recurrences and expected defects must be eliminated before they turn into major issues. This presentation will discuss on the experience of Tanjung Bin Power, on how they tackle most of problems at the early stage and plan the strategies based on long-term TaxonomyItemHtml cause analysis. All-in-one predefined display, auto-report generator and easy to use interfaces shortened the time needed by operators to analyze and forecast the impact for the long-term basis. The PI DataLink, PI SMT, PI ProcessBook, PI ACE, and PI AlarmView were used.
