Upstream Water Injection Asset Integrity by means of OSIsoft Connected Services
How the OSIsoft PI System and Connected Services are enabling Veolia to provide Water Injection Asset Integrity to SBM Offshore, with technical support via Servelec Controls. Water injection is fundamental to oil reservoir recovery. Veolia provide service support for offshore water treatment systems and have embarked on a digitisation regime through the PI platform. Leading FPSO provider SBM Offshore is a long term user of the PI System, operating water injection systems on assets globally. As a consumer Veolia services, SBM have driven the early development of the Connected Service offering jointly with Veolia, to improve SBM water injection reliability, initially in Brazil and then across their global fleet. Content will include how the PI system was selected as the tool of choice to support the new technical support offering and how the system was developed and implemented using Connected Services. Servelec Controls will present the overall technical architecture as developed.
