Update on PIANO
PIANO is a core part of the RtPM Platform. It is a simple, flexible, powerful, and highly available enterprise platform for building and maintaining user configured real-time analyses and notifications. PIANO unifies all the existing analysis and alarming products with a significantly expanded feature set. This presentation will discuss its important features, illustrate some of the features via demos, and outline the roadmap.

Alex Zheng
Alex Zheng is the PI Server Team Lead, focusing on the PIANO development. He earned his BSChE degree from Clemson University in 1990, and his PhD from Caltech in 1995. Before joining OSIsoft in 2000, he was an Assistant Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. While at UMass, he received the prestigious CAREER award from the National Science Foundation and was the College of Engineering Teacher of the Year in 1999-2000. He worked for Air Products and Chemicals in 1995-1996. He enjoys cooking and playing tennis.

Beth McNeill
Beth McNeill is a Software Developer in the Clients Group at OSIsoft. She was the lead developer of RtAlerts and is currently working on the PIANO project. She has a BE in Chemical Engineering from Cooper Union.
