TraPac drives operational results through automation and digitalization at Port of Los Angeles
TraPac is on the leading edge in container-terminal automation in North America. In 2017, TraPac deployed a PI System in an effort to consolidate data from the various automation systems and provide improved operational insight. The system has since been widely adopted within the organization and has resulted in a number of benefits: faster root-cause analysis, significant improvements to the equipment maintenance program and enhanced ability to identify optimization opportunities. The presentation will outline the system implementation, identify some of the challenges within the context of the logistics industry, and describe the key analyses and use cases which have been most beneficial to TraPac.

Mark Jensen
Mark Jensen joined TraPac LLC in June 2016. Mark has been challenged to bring about a best in class maintenance transformation to TraPac to achieve overall operational excellence.
Mark brings more than a decade of container handling equipment experience having worked project and maintenance roles for some of the global terminal operators. Mark is a graduate of the University of Queensland and is a Chartered Professional Engineer in Australia.
