Today, the PI System manages just under 1 billion data feeds across the 17,000 sites worldwide. With such volumes of data spread across the organization, the ultimate question is, how can an individual or group of individuals tap into and use everything that is available to them. Data on its own can be difficult to understand, combine, and share unless it has context that enables anyone in the organization to quickly comprehend, interpret and act on information. This session focuses on the best practices and required capabilities for sharing, standardizing and consistently enriching data from business and operations systems so that data is self-service and turned into actionable information at every level in the organization.
