As industry continually increases the demand for accurate measurement on pipeline systems, we must light up our dark data to gain powerful insights into the inner workings of measurement equipment and achieve maximum accuracy. With PI Asset Framework, smart devices such as ultrasonic meters can be quickly modeled, deployed, and monitored for abnormal operations in real-time. Traditional ultrasonic testing methods offer insight into a fraction of the meter's operational behavior, but PI allows us to achieve real-time testing around the clock. With PI, we can reduce unnecessary maintenance and focus on the assets that have the greatest potential for operational impact.
In 2019, TransCanada changed its company's name to TC Energy to better reflect the scope of its operations across North America.
