PRESENTATION
2013 - EMEA Industry Session - Pharmaceuticals, Food and Specialty Chemicals
Towards a Recipe Driven Organization
This presentation describes Janssen plans for the application of an S88 recipe based approach, encompassing an end to end execution model, from the laboratories through clinical manufacturing, into commercial production. The S88 standard is used as a model for defining the process content, execution, and visualization of resultant data. Janssen has an extensive installed base of the OSIsoft PI System across its network, and the PI System is viewed as the link between process execution/data collection and visualization/analytics, bringing forward the full context of the data. Recent examples from clinical and commercial manufacturing sites will be reviewed.
