Iberdrola has developed a strategic plan by means of growing its total installed capacity building up 9.600 new Megawatts in Spain and South America. In this context, the CMDS is responsible for supervising the 31 planned gas turbines all around the world with a production of 67.000 GWh per year. The CMDS provides real-time service to all combined cycle power plants analyzing operational and maintenance data and proposing recommendations and improving the availability, reliability and efficiency of the plants. We use different OSIsoft products depending on the goals we have: to pick up the data from the plants and send them to the CMDS we use PI UDS, to process it in the CMDS we use PI ACE and to export it to inform our clients we use PI ICE. With OSIsoft products we transform raw data into managerial information to take the right decisions.
