PG&E continues to rollout PI System infrastructure at all hydro facilities and across job classifications. In this presentation, PG&E will demonstrate how the PI System infrastructure is used in day to day operations throughout the system to monitor powerhouses and gaging stations with improved visibility and operational awareness in watersheds throughout California. PI is installed in centralized Citrix XenApp servers to deliver data with increased response times to office locations with slow network connections. ProcessBook displays are built using AF and are available for field personnel on mobile phones and tablets. The speaker will share deployment/rollout experiences and plan for upcoming projects.
