Presentation: The Monetization of Manufacturing Data: Creation of the ConnectedEnterprise

The Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII), a partner of the Department of Energy, is a coalition of academia and industry chartered to develop a platform for smart technologies and systems for use in advanced manufacturing, to keep US companies competitive through data insight and advanced analytics. The speaker will outline the Institute’s journey and describe example use cases that leveraged its robust, growing network of technology partners and service providers. He will also describe successful integrating the PI System both as a data aggregator and as a key contextualization component of CESMII’s cloud-based analytics and modeling platform.
