The Considerations and Architecture for One of the Industry’s Most Integrated and Automated MES Programs
In this case study, hear cutting edge MES program plans and results. In one of the most highly integrated and comprehensive MES programs ever attempted in the pharmaceutical industry, several key questions and challenges were met with careful consideration and deliberation. In this session, gain insight on the planning and thought-process that took place, which worked to lay the groundwork for this remarkable project.
Integrating the MES with: SAP, Maximo, Calibration Systems, PI Historians, LIMS, DCS.
Where we are: The integration of PI to store batch events and continuous data using a newly developed DeltaV interface. Plant structure organized in Analysis Framework for reporting purposes using RtReports. Using user specific portal views to enable enterprise-wide access to critical batch information and exceptions.
