To keep up with global economic changes and challenges and optimize operations in all environments, MOL Plc continuously modifies its business and operations strategy. Recent initiatives have included energy and utility optimization, and increased safety, reliability and operational efficiency. In past OSIsoft Users Conferences, MOL has presented the use of the PI System infrastructure to achieve these goals. Initial insights obtained with the PI System lead to actions that provided further insights for improving operations. These additional insights and the next steps in MOL's journey to operational excellence through continuous learning with the PI System, will be the focus of this presentation. MOL's goal is to reduce flaring by 90% by the year 2018 and is expected to provide annual savings of 4,05 million EUR. This presentation will also discuss MOL's heavy use of the PI Server's Asset Framework to provide context to data streams across all operations. In addition, MOL is exploring applications for future data in PI Server 2015 for planned vs. actual reporting, energy scheduling, and forecasting which will be discussed in this presentation.
