COMPESA is a stock company of mixed economy, with public interest purposes, the Compesa is linked to the State of Pernambuco through the Department of Economic Development. It is an organization with legal personality under private law, with the state as its largest shareholder. Compesa was founded in 1971 with the mission to bring water and sanitation to Pernambuco state. Since then, an intense expansion was planned every year and today the company operates in 173 of the 185 cities in the state, including Fernando de Noronha archipelago. The Pain Points in COMPESA presentation were difficulty in obtaining operational data, employee’s dependency, lack of standardization, process of follow-up barriers and sparse data all over the company. The solutions provided with PI System are building database infrastructure, storage, contextualizing and exhibition, with that the information was shared. The results were organized standard data with easy access history.
