This presentation will focus on the techniques available to install and configure PI in a secure environment. This means restricting access to the computer system and its data to specific individuals according to the requirements of your site. System management procedures pertaining to both the Windows environment and the PI Server will be considered. The presentation will include a discussion of the PI Audit Viewer, which allows system managers to view changes made to PI Server configuration and data.

Ray Verhoeff is a 10 year veteran of OSIsoft. Prior to his promotion to Vice President, he led the PI3 Server development team. He is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
