RtPM: Your Portal to Performance
Decades of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures have created a mixture of assets at many companies that resembles the tower of Babel. Though these assets are organizationally located inside a single company, they do not “speak” the same language and are often required to operate as a seamless, single entity to deliver optimal corporate operating performance. Even worse, as many companies develop specialized niches to increase the value of the products and services they deliver, they are increasingly forced to cooperate and even collaborate with previously competitive outside organizations. This drives the need for secure, pervasive monitoring of the assets, as well as role-based delivery of real-time performance information. RtPM delivers real-time organizational transparency that drives accurate and timely behavior. This transparency ranges from simple instrumentation of existing assets through end-to-end Application Performance Management to complex Key Performance Indicator (KPI) calculation and propagation. RtPM delivers the "one version of the truth" that is essential to regulatory reporting, joint venture collaboration and individual corporate operational excellence. Michael and Cliff will cover the business, regulatory and technological motivations which are driving corporations around the world to build massively transparent organizations.
