Dave Roberts
Dave Roberts joined OSIsoft as Director in May 2005. Today, as OSIsoft's VP for Business Development and Strategic Sales, Mr. Roberts manages OSIsoft's various vertical industries, including Power, Transmission & Distribution, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, and many other process industries. Mr. Roberts is very active in the wind industry, and works with many of the major wind and power generation companies to optimize the management of their various assets and businesses.
Prior to joining OSIsoft, Mr. Roberts worked at SeaWest WindPower. As Vice President, Project Development, he was responsible for the development of hundreds of megawatts of wind farms in the western U.S. Mr. Roberts then became Senior Vice President of Strategy and Planning, leading to the eventual sale of SeaWest to the AES Corporation in 2005. During this period, SeaWest started-up and owned Prasentia, LLC, where as President Mr. Roberts defined product and service strategies, launched the business, and conducted commercial transactions with end-use customers. Prasentia's main business was the development and implementation of Real-Time Wind Farm Management Systems, which utilized the OSIsoft PI System platform, and included Wind Farm SCADA systems and Management/Enterprise Level systems.
Mr. Roberts earned his BA International Relations and MBA International Management from the Fischer Graduate School of International Management, MIIS, Monterey, CA.
