The Facility Monitor Product is OSIsoft’s offering for the SAP NetWeaver platform that exposes web services for OSIsoft products into a Business Context ready to be consumed by SAP Products. The Facility Monitor will also receive Enterprise Web Services from SAP’s ESOA and will translate that into formats required by OSIsoft Products. The availability of these web services in the SAP Platform allow for the development of xAPP’s that combine OSIsoft data with enterprise data and other 3rd party applications. The web services can be consumed by SAP Products such as xMII and Visual Composer. The services that will be exposed include such functions as needed for applications such as Inventory Monitoring, Utility Management and Asset Management. The presentation will include a demonstration of how the services can be accessed by the SAP Visual Composer Product. The Facility Monitor has been certified by SAP and is Powered by NetWeaver. OSIsoft is an active member of the SAP ES community and we will be looking to obtain ES Ready certification as SAP offers their ESOA packages.
