Stan Hollowell
Stan Hollowell joined Tucson Electric Power (TEP) in 2011 with 23 years in the utility industry. He is responsible for the overall strategic development and implementation of TEP’s advanced technology based solutions, with a key focus on smart grid technologies and the integration of distributed energy resources. He oversees the implementation of technological solutions and sets the direction for incorporating emerging technologies into generation, transmission, and distribution operations. He sets the direction and oversees the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of TEP’s new technology deployments and pilot projects, including the engineering research, studies, economic evaluations and technical intelligence necessary to support the commercialization and integration of emerging technologies. Prior to his current role, Stan managed the systems integration team for the Energy Management System and the Distribution Outage Management System, and he was an essential member of the team that developed and managed TEP’s NERC CIP program.
