Programming Tools for the PI System
The PI Developer Technologies are OSIsoft's tools to help you build applications and extensions using PI System data. This presentation will provide an overview of our tools and tell you how to get started. We will show how to work with OSIsoft's growing library of sample code and applications on GitHub. We will talk about how to get help from our Development Support team and from other PI Developers Club members. While we will focus primarily on the AF SDK and the PI Web API we will also list the resources available to help you with our PI OPC Server and PI SQL Framework.

Patrice Thivierge Fortin
Patrice Thivierge Fortin is a Development Support Engineer at OSIsoft. He provides guidance to OSIsoft's customers with their software development projects involving the PI Developer Technologies. Prior to joining OSIsoft in 2013, Patrice spent 7 years in various Engineering fields such as automation, robotics, vision systems, industrial computing and system integration. He holds a BS in Automated Production Engineering.

Ray Verhoeff
Ray Verhoeff is the Product Manager for PI Developer Technologies. He began his career with OSIsoft as a Software Engineer and developed the PI System's first SQL language implementation. He later served as Group Leader for the PI Data Archive team, VP of Engineering, VP of Research and Director of Development. Prior to OSIsoft, he worked for Champion International, and for Honeywell Icotron as a Process Control Engineer. Ray holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science degree from the University of Toronto. He also completed a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
