Presentation: Plant Performance and Condition-based Maintenance Using the OSIsoft PI System

This presentation will provide an overview of how to leverage the OSIsoft PI System to perform plant equipment performance and condition based maintenance calculations and notifications. The PI Asset Framework is the core technology used to perform the needed calculations for a wide array of equipment types. Key to the design are PI AF Templates, Notification Templates and leveraging the PI AF SDK and PI SDK. The PI AF technologies make this an ideal platform for calculations that are repeatable and scalable. The integration of PI Notifications with PI AF technology means that your calculations can be monitored and then notified of anomalies. We will also provide a method of working with future data related to predicting equipment performance and dealing with future data in the PI System.
