Automation, IIoT, machine learning, artificial intelligence and augmented reality – the next decade promises to be the digital revolution of the industrial world. The challenge is to integrate legacy or silo systems and assets with new technologies to harness the explosion of data to drive new opportunities without risking the operations. This talk will cover the scenarios to illustrate the different levels of analytics that are fit-for-purpose when using the PI System - for example, what calculations and analysis do you do in PI Server Asset Framework, when do you use the 3rd party tools for advanced calculations that hook into PI Server Asset Framework and when do you call on “data science and machine learning ”. The talk will also assess different customer use cases and demonstrate what kind of analytics done with BI/ML/AI, etc. on top of PI System.
