In this session, we will announce the new release of PI Server. This release provides major performance and scalability enhancements, as well as significant improvements in the overall reliability, security, and resilience. These enhancements will benefit all customers who are hungry for data and want to do heavy business intelligence or data-intensive applications—and, in addition, they will prove critical in some relatively new scenarios, such as large-scale meter data or energy management, high speed phasor monitoring, or discrete manufacturing. Such systems can require real-time analytics, have millions of points, receive sub-millisecond measurements, and/or serve thousands of concurrent users. We will demonstrate how PI Server 2012 provides new capabilities in all of these areas, while lowering manageability and ownership costs.
