PI Coresight was renamed PI Vision in 2017
Genentech Process Technical Development has come a long way in the past 5 years. Migrating from local on the floor trending on dedicated workstations to desktop and terminal server based Processbook displays was a big step forward. However, Coresight represents an even bigger step forward by making it easy to share data within a site and across the Genentech / Roche network. Several hurdles were overcome to start the migration to AF and enable Coresight's abilities, including a heavy use of the MDB infrastructure and some complex ACE executables.
