Presentation: Performance Monitoring for Fossil Power Plant

 In light of the de-regulation of the utility market in Korea, KEPRI decided to implement an RtPM in Taean thermal power plant in order to stay competitive. PI infrastructure improves worker productivity by automate tasks such as efficiency calculation, fuel expense and operational reporting. PI also improves operational visibility by giving more people the access to the plant information that was previously accessible only in the Main Control Room. Lastly, PI enables the long term storage of plant information.
