Overcoming Varying Equipment Characteristics and Operating Context to Eliminate Equipment Failure (Panel)
Each piece of equipment is unique. It's built by different people at different times. Its maintenance varies as does its operating context. Working with the OSIsoft data infrastructure SmartSignal develops the unique operating profile of each piece of equipment across all known ambient conditions and operating contexts. Together they eliminate equipment failure and operational errors by providing the intelligence to detect - diagnose - prioritize them while they're developing - before they become real problems. The participants will offer case studies illustrating equipment problems that we’re avoided through the creative use of each system. They’ll illustrate the value of each problem that was eliminated and they’ll talk about how to a joint OSIsoft/SmartSignal solution can be rapidly developed.
