Michelin is an OSIsoft EA Customer currently deploying PI System Infrastructure as one foundation of the “Digital Manufacturing” journey, since 2017. Michelin’ Digital Manufacturing is a global initiative that federates business, operations, OT and IT experts, from the plants and the central support organization, to build Michelin future Manufacturing and Supply-Chain, through real-life and focused demonstrators based on a standardized business value creation and roll-out methodology. In this talk Michelin will deliver a perspective why and how PI System Infrastructure is supporting selected facilities to accelerate the change in the manufacturing operations towards data-driven improvements, evolve the OT-IT systems landscape, positively impact culture and business. With the introduction and development of new digital and data-driven approaches, Michelin expects to reap additional efficiencies on process, quality, maintenance, energies, employees engagement, and impact substantially the financial bottom line. Frédéric joined Michelin in 2000 as Software Engineer for process control at Corporate Engineering at Global HQ in Clermont-Ferrand, evolved to Team Manager. In 2013, he joined Michelin North America in Greenville as Engineering Manager of Information Systems for Process Control. Frédéric graduated from Engineering School ISIMA a Master’s degree Computer Science.

Ludovic Lonjon
With a background both in OT and IT, Ludovic evolved from Project Director and Technical Manager for OT Solutions covering cybersecurity, network, hardware, software. Prior working for Michelin he worked in the aero-defense industry, as technical leader for a Product Life Management and project leader for aeronautics projects. Ludovic graduated from Engineering School ENSEEIHT with a major in Automation Engineering and Industrial Software.
