Miguel Chavero
Miguel Chavero is OSIsoft's Power and Utilities Industry Principal for EMEA, and served for 18 years working within the utilities sector, primarily in the Power and Water management industries. Prior to OSIsoft, Miguel spent 12 years at IBERDROLA, one of the largest utilities in the world. At Iberdrola Miguel led a team responsible for deploying and supporting real time data driven initiatives across multiple business units, as well as supporting and maintaining Iberdrola's real-time data infrastructure. Key applications and services deployed by Miguel's team focused on Asset Management, Operational Excellence and Performance and Efficiency Improvements programs. Miguel was also responsible for information security in Generation Control Systems, and has experience deploying complex cybersecurity projects worldwide protecting Critical Cyber Assets and leading cross-industry initiatives to support awareness, education and standardization programs. Mr. Chavero is CISSP certified and is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences.
