SECURE Energy's Processing, Recovery, and Disposal (PRD) division operates Full Service Terminals, Stand-Alone Water Disposal Facilities, Landfills, and Full Service Rail Terminals that serve customers in the oil and gas industry with the safe treatment and disposal of their oilfield by-products. At SECURE's liquid facilities, bottleneck and throughput analysis has been qualitative or anecdotal due to the unique oilfield by-products that are handled. By leveraging the PI System, Asset Framework, and Analysis Services, we will be able to create calculations that act as a proxy for flow rates through assets that have been a challenge to quantify historically. Once flow rates are calculated, an abundance of opportunity to implement historical averages, 95th percentile flow, etc. are possible to enable the measurement of asset/process/facility throughput. The ability to quantify throughput and identify bottlenecks will drive capital programs to focus on opportunities with highest margins as well as improve onsite awareness and capabilities. The increased visibility will drive capability development resulting in elevated productivity and operating cost reduction with anticipated economics for this project to have a 15 year IRR of 312%.
