With today's emphasis on making manufacturing more ""intelligent"" to drive more efficient operations, it's critical to have instant access to actionable, in-context information about the performance of each manufacturing operation. Enterprise Manufacturing Operational Intelligence (EMI). Operational Intelligence, and Manufacturing Intelligence technologies and practices are available to help users tap into the vast amount of data available in the plant and exposing it as intelligent information with integration, contextualization, analytics, dashboards, visualization and other tools. In addition to process data, this in-context information includes business information, operations data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that results in valuable insights and performance improvements. Information about EMI and results from a recent ARC survey on manufacturing intelligence will be given about the business results gained from the integration and contextualization of data. The presentation will pertain to survey data that covers most of OSIsoft products and benefits obtained in many areas."
