PowerStream has used the PI System for 5 years and continues to mature, explore, expand and show its use throughout the industry. For years, PowerStream has used remote sensing and SCADA to optimize its distribution system. With its focus on Digitalization, PowerStream has increased the number of sensors throughout its utility and the amount of data it must manage. It has become less of a challenge to understand meaningful data from volumes of data with the PI System. It's the key enabler to the Digital Transformation that PowerStream and others in the power industry are undergoing. After a full upgrade including HA, Powerstream has further expanded its use of the PI System by exploring the benefits of using the PI Integrator for ArcGIS Online, Event Frames as well as expanded use of Asset Analytics. PowerStream is excited about the industry shift to Digital Transformation and has adopted and adapted quickly because of its willingness to experiment, change and act.
