New to the PI System? Wondering what the hype is around big data, unstructured data, and what it has to do with you? Attend this session to find out how it all fits together. Basic PI System Overview PI 101 courses are for attendees who are new to the PI System or new to the UC. These sessions will cover key concepts, PI System products, and common use cases. By the end, you will have a foundation to get the most out of the UC and conversations with fellow attendees.

Selmane Sekkai
Selmane Sekkai is a Systems Engineer at OSIsoft since January 2017. His role is to explain the technology and define the PI System architecture to customers. Previously, he had a similar role at MathWorks (editor of MATLAB and Simulink) for 4 years and worked for 3 years in the Automotive Industry as a Design Engineer. Selmane graduated from the “Ecole Polytechnique” of Algiers with an engineering degree in Control Design. He also holds a master’s degree in Industrial Computing from Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris.

Jeremy Korman
Jeremy Korman is a Product Marketing Manager responsible for OSIsoft’s data ingress technologies. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Jeremy worked as an operations engineer for a leading specialty chemical company, Albemarle Corporation. Jeremy became a super fan and power user of the PI System while working in Albemarle’s refinery catalyst manufacturing division. He has been working with the PI System for over 7 years and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas.
