New to the PI System? Wondering what the hype is around big data, unstructured data, and what it has to do with you? Attend this session to find out how it all fits together. Topics: Data concepts: Time-series, relational, unstructured The rub: What makes operational data difficult? Basic PI System Overview PI 101 courses are for attendees who are new to the PI System or new to the UC. These sessions will cover key concepts, PI System products, and common use cases. By the end, you will have a foundation to get the most out of the UC and conversations with fellow attendees.

Throughout his career with OSIsoft, from directly supporting customers as a Tech Support Engineer to teaching courses as a Field Service Engineer, and then to creating YouTube videos as the eLearning Specialist and now as a Value Marketing Manager, he’s delivering ideas. Collins is highly social, learns anything you have to say about the day-to-day operation of industries using the PI System, and can often be found making videos with his phone.

Clark is a Systems Engineer at OSIsoft. He enjoys working with customers to identify business objectives that can be solved using the PI System. He also enjoys using the PI System in creative use cases, like home monitoring. Clark joined OSIsoft three years ago after working for John Deere and Caterpillar. He holds a BA in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
