mPI: What’s in It for You?
The Enterprise Agreement combined with mPI (managed PI operation) extends the support that OSIsoft is providing to customers. It benefits EA and regular customers alike. This session reviews the architecture of mPI, the service organization changes to support the operation center and some results observed in the first year of deployment, what are we finding. The plan is to Get PI Installed Right + Get more value from PI.

Benny Gallardo
Benny Gallardo is a senior software developer with OSIsoft in the PI clients group. He joined the company in 1998 and worked in the PI interface group developing several interfaces as well as the OLEDB COM connector. Four years later, Benny moved to the PI clients group and was the primary architect for version 3.0 of PI System Management Tools. As a member of the Managed PI team, he is currently the lead developer for the Software Update Services. Benny holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Davis and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Dianne Bricco
Diane Bricco commenced working for OSIsoft this year as an Enterprise Project Manager and has extensive experience in the pulp and paper industry. Previously, she worked for MeadWestvaco at the Escanaba mill for 17 years. She has been a PI user since 1994 when she worked as a Process Control Systems Engineer. At Mead, she led a project to convert from PI on VMS to PI on Windows. Diane has a Bachelor's degree from Northern Michigan University in Computer Information Systems and Business.

Dennis Ju
Dennis Ju is a member of OSIsoft’s Technical Support Team. He along with over 40+ colleagues in 9 global offices provide round-the-clock technical support for customers. Dennis has been on-board with OSIsoft in the San Leandro, CA office since last year. He has a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and enjoys playing guitar, snowboarding, and solving puzzles.
