\"Seconds add up to minutes, minutes impacts someone's life.\" This was my team's motto in Afghanistan. How we managed assets to variations in combat impacted the outcomes. In mining, seconds still add to minutes, and minutes equal revenue. Lessons learned managing Regional Command East in Afghanistan are relevant to supporting mining information to protect and enhance our teams.
