Maximizing Operations Utilizing Real Time Spatial Information
White House Utility District (WHUD) in Tennessee utilizes real time spatial information in their day to day operations and decision making processes. The PI system has become the central location for their real time data. In the PI system staff can view and analyze real time data from many different sources. Complex calculations from multiple sources that took hours to do are now done automatically in PI. WHUD is a Geocentric organization, understanding the importance of spatial information. Using the PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS they are now able to quickly view and share their real time data spatially which has help modernize workflows and reduce operational costs. WHUD will highlight several examples of real time data being integrated with the PI System and GIS, how this was accomplished, and their value to their organization.
