As a Regional Transmission Organization, MISO assures consumers of unbiased regional grid management and open access to the transmission facilities under MISO’s functional supervision. MISO helps to ensure that reliable, least-cost delivered energy for all electricity consumers in their service. Mr. Bhowmik and Mr. Raju will present how OSIsoft’s PI System infrastructure provides the information necessary to safely and reliably manage the 175,436 MW’s (market) capacity in their service area. MISO’s PI System infrastructure is one of the world’s largest, monitoring upwards of 700K points system-wide.
