With five years of experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) market, Quarcum Technologies is the creator of the Ominor System, a complete system for sensors and other devices to communicate through cellular and satellite networks. All available raw data from sensors and other devices is brought into the Ominor System, and the challenge is how to deliver information to customers in a way that makes it easy to view and understand the current status of assets. Now customers can access assets through a dashboard developed with PI System tools.
This presentation will show a use case in which a customer monitors freezers with special seeds remotely and explain how PI System tools became integral to his business.

Luigino Rigitano is the Commercial Director of the Quadix Group, the parent company of Quarcum Technologies, and an entrepreneur with 16 years of experience in management. He also has 20 years of experience in the design, application engineering, and marketing of systems and equipment for industrial automation and the oil & gas market. He has developed strategic agreements for oil & gas automation projects with global companies for the promotion and marketing of products in the Brazilian market. Luigino Rigitano holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a specialization in international business management from Methodist University of Piracicaba.
