Bondtech an OEM of CNC systems has extended their PI System to collect data at their customer's facilities. By leveraging products from HMS Networks Bondtech has created a new level of service for their customer base. This has lead to lower deployment costs and improved customer satisfaction.

As the Americas Director of Engineering Services and Business Development, Tom is responsible for identifying and creating M2M communications solutions outside the standard HMS Networks catalog product offering. These solutions leverage HMS Network’s core IP to enable machine data sharing between OT and IT.
As an OSIsoft technology partner HMS Networks offers communications solutions that bridge machine controllers as well as individual devices into the PI System. Areas of focus include bridging Fieldbus networks (EtherCAT, CANopen, J1939, EthernetIP, PROFINET, DF1, PROFIBUS ...) via wireless technologies the PI System on-premises or in the cloud.
Tom holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Computer Science. He has held multiple development roles in ASIC and FPGA design before moving into business development and engineering management. Tom has extensive background in communications system design and secure networking.
