As Senior Director for Microsoft’s Environmental Sustainability team, Bill Mitchel leads the company’s development of a global partner strategy to drive energy efficiency and sustainability solutions. He focuses on creating strategic relationships with independent software vendors, systems integrators, universities and NGOs. Mr. Mitchel has served in a variety of executive sales management and business development roles in the software and technology business for 20 years, including 3D design systems at Autodesk, game consoles and networking solutions. Prior to joining Microsoft, he managed sales, business development and strategic planning efforts for several start-ups focused on product lifecycle management solutions.
