Liberty Ostrava's Condition-based maintenance via PI System with Live Q&A

Liberty Ostrava uses the PI System in most of its production plants. Under this assumption, it was possible to define a condition-based maintenance (CbM) system for device lubrication based on automatic notifications via data monitoring using a PI System. The speaker will answer audience questions following their presentation.

My name is Radim Lužný, born 15.12.1960 After elementary school, I studied high school with a focus on electrical engineering and then college with a focus on mathematical analysis and computer science. I started working as a programmer and application analyst on IBM Mainframe systems. Subsequently, I implemented MES for blast furnaces in Ostrava, then I worked as the head of the application SAP team in Ostrava and for the next four years I led IT in Liberty Ostrava. Now I work on MES and process modelling. Since 1996, I have been working with the PI system of the OSIsoft company, which is applied cross-sectionally at all Liberty Ostrava production plants
