National Grid is an international energy company that owns and operates electricity generation & transmission facilities and gas distribution networks in the UK and the US. This presentation discusses the challenges faced by the company as a result of growth that led to increasingly sophisticated but disparate systems to manage operations. The methods used to successfully address these challenges that resulted in user acceptance of the unified solution based on the PI System are also presented.
