Leveraging Data Analytics to Support Merck’s Journey in Continuous Manufacturing (Merck,Seeq)
Scientists, engineers, managers and other decision makers must be able to thrive in a challenging business environment defined by process development, regulations, market shifts, and growing competition. Technology for supporting innovative product design, process operation, analytics, and robust data management has advanced by leaps and bounds in the past 10 years. In the pharmaceutical industry we can capture and analyze the data we need to develop tangible solutions and a clear direction in all the phases of product development.
Through the effective analysis enabled by utilizing Seeq with PI, we can increase our knowledge of the process and product leading to high quality and robust development and control strategies. To leverage this opportunity in continuous manufacturing, we need to adopt a data analytics solution that is broadly useful to all team members, as opposed to a collection of individual applications reserved for just a few “expert” individuals within a company.
