OSIsoft recently released a new offering called the "On Demand Library". This library is in the form of voice and video recordings that are designed to be as easy-to-use as possible. They are based on the same tasks and objectives that form the basis for our classroom training. Users can search for the instruction they need, or go through the videos as if they were in a classroom setting. The Library also contains access to our Virtual Learning Lab environment, where users can test their new skills in real-time using a PI System "sandbox." During this presentation, Nick D'Orazio, E-Learning Manager and Pablo Benvenuto, Instructional Technologist, will discuss the subscription model, including pricing, options, access for EA customers and browser requirements. They will also cover the Virtual Labs, new trends in training and the future direction of the OSIsoft online training offering. As part of the presentation they will show how to register and launch the On Demand Library successfully. They will also demo the new features such as search, the content currently searchable and the Virtual Environment.
